I am really thanking so much QUINTINHA D’ARGA for letting us experience the most unforgettable and beautiful staycation where me and my husband celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary, June 2018. We have stayed for a maximum 4 days but it felt like we wish to stay even more longer. The hotel is feeling so homey and at the same time very friendly athmosphere. The “Rustic Food” and the restaurant is one of the BEST we had dine in. Top quality food, very unique menu and fantastic Chef are the highlights of the restaurant. Everyone in the hotel were very lovely and very accommodating. We are really happy of the experience of this great staycation. We will definitely be back in this Amazing Hotel. Really friendly welcome. We booked 3 rooms through trip advisor and all of an excellent standard although fairly basic. The evening meal was magical, trying new cuisine and listening to the waiter playing the guitar. Our eldest daughter pitched in with her own set-list. A very proud moment. We finished the meal with coffee and honey brandy.
Wonderful place and very kindly staff. We didn't comunicate that we travel with a dog but there was no problem at all. We had a really tasty dinner (cheap guests menu) and also breakfast was good. The room was a little bit warm cause there is not AC but there was 40C outside so this was normal.

I am writing a review only about their restaurant. Local person recommended this family place. Initially they brought us some tasty blood sausage , bread, olives, which they charged us for without askin BUT this is typical for Portugal. When we try to order 1 entree were basically told no so we ordered 2. Don't get fouled about getting the typical cod for 2 people 20 Euro. 1 serving is enough for 2 people which will cost you only 9 euro. Wouldn't recommend eating here. Not much of value. It is actually cheaper to eat in a big city. Everything overpriced.
We loved the journey as it quite high up and the restaurant has a lovely view of the village of Dem and we enjoyed our lunch of cabrito which is young goat.
Excellent food, service and setting. Prices are also more than reasonable.
